The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Canadian Stick Curling Association (CSCA) will be held on April 17, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. at the Leaside Curling Club in Toronto. The AGM coincides with the National Stick Curling Championships to ensure that as many stick curlers as possible are able to attend.
All participants of the National Stick Curling Championships are invited to attend the AGM. It is a forum where everyone has an opportunity to express their thoughts and ideas on the issues at hand and thus help to inform the voting members when the question on the motion at hand is called. The voting members of the CSCA are those representatives nominated by each of the provincial/territorial stick associations and are limited to one per province/territory.
The AGM also provides a forum for the Board of Directors and the Executive of the CSCA to inform those in attendance of the initiatives that have been undertaken in the past year and of the financial situation of the association.
The agenda for the AGM is posted here as are all of the documents that pertain to the business at hand. You are encouraged to read all of the documentation and to participate actively at the meeting.
The meeting will be conducted in accordance with Robert’s Rules of Order. If you are not familiar with the rules there is a significant amount of information available on the website.
We look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
Sherril MinnsPresident, CSCA
